        Born as Moses Onyedikachi Izuchukwu on March 2, 1990 to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Innocent Izuchukwu, from Afikpo North in Ebonyi State, Nigeria. The afrobeat artist was born and raised in the Heartland City of Owerri, the capital of Imo State in Eastern Nigeria, where he attained every level of education he has. Kozy G initially started as a footballer (soccer) and was doing well before quitting for others jobs to keep life going. 

        His love for music made him join the choir of his church where he exhibited his God given talent. Professionally, Kozy G started doing music with a group of four called Da Fame, who later broke up because there was no one to support them financially, leaving him as the only member doing music till date. Going by the stage name ‘Smoot J’, he did many unreleased tracks with ‘Da Fame’ and being a cool headed and generous guy, his friends named him Kozy General which prompted the change of name to Kozy G. Kozy G is born 4^th child to an average Nigerian family of 6 siblings. He has had the backing of his family to do music since he was a child and is well known for a thrilling performances on stage. In 2013 he released his official debut track “Shiver”, and has since then registered his name in the music industry with other collaborations.

         In 2023 while putting the final touches on his hit single “Money Money”, Kozy G signed with Negron World; an international record label based out of Seattle Washington in the United States founded and managed by musician & promoter Toño Negron; he continues to make high level afrobeat music alongside his manager and friend Toño Negron. Some notable collaborative tunes of theirs are “Nigeria to Colombia (Thumbs Up)”, “Still On The Matter”, “Turn by Turn” etc.

         Nacido como Moses Onyedikachi Izuchukwu el 2 de marzo de 1990 en la familia del Sr. y la Sra. Innocent Izuchukwu, de Afikpo Norte en el estado de Ebonyi, Nigeria. El artista afrobeat nació y se crió en Heartland City de Owerri, la capital del Imo State en el este de  Nigeria, donde alcanzó todos los niveles de educación que tiene. Kozy G inicialmente comenzó como futbolista y le estaba yendo bien antes de renunciar a otros trabajos para continuar con su vida.

          Su amor por la música lo hizo unirse al coro de su iglesia donde exhibió el talento que Dios le dio. Profesionalmente, Kozy G comenzó a hacer música con un grupo de cuatro llamado Da Fame, que luego se separó porque no había nadie que los apoyara económicamente, dejándolo como el único miembro haciendo música hasta la fecha. Bajo el nombre artístico de ‘Smoot J’, hizo muchas pistas inéditas con ‘Da Fame’ y, siendo un tipo generoso y tranquilo, sus amigos lo llamaron Kozy General, lo que provocó el cambio de nombre a Kozy G. Kozy G nacio el 4to hijo de una familia nigeriana promedio de 6 hermanos. Ha tenido el respaldo de su familia para hacer música desde que era un niño y es bien conocido por sus emocionantes actuaciones en el escenario. En 2013 lanzó su canción debut oficial “Shiver”, y desde entonces ha registrado su nombre en la industria de la música con otras colaboraciones.
